White beans and spruitjes

Warm into winter with these cosy smashed white beans topped with roasted sprouts and finished with Ciao Bella. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup cooked white beans

  • reserved bean liquid - bonus if you have some herbs, onion and garlic from the pot too if you cooked your own
  • Tahini
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Brussel sprouts
  • Sourdough
  • Trouble & Spice Ciao Bella

COOK

  • Heat the air fryer to 200C

  • Halve the brussel sprouts and toss with 1 teaspoon oil from Ciao Bella.
  • Airfry for 10 minutes at 200C
  • Mash beans with a fork, add 2 tbs tahini, a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of salt.
  • Adjust flavour and texture until you're in love.
  • Toast thick slices of sourdough

ENJOY

  • Spread toast with butter or go straight on with a thick layer of bean mash.
  • Add brussel sprouts on top of beans
  • Drizzle with Ciao Bella including some crispies.
