Turkish Eggs with a Twist

Turkish Eggs with a Twist

By now we've all seen or likely tried Turkish Eggs - a yoghurt base, with two perfectly poached eggs, finished with a herb and chili butter. Perfect for dredging through buttered sourdough toast. Maybe the best weekend breakfast. Or would that be Shakshuka?

Genius, Evie of Eviekookt thought - what if we put them both together!

Note: Trouble & Whale is renamed Citir Biber

Turkish-style eggs dish drizzled with Trouble & Spice Trouble & Whale Turkish crispy chilli oil - chili olie, served with flatbread and a jar of the chilli oil in the background.
Head on over to Evie's blog for the full recipe - note Evie is using sucuk, a turkish sausage - if you want to to keep it vegetarian it's still delicious just leaving it our, or you can sub in your favourite plant based alternative.

Just grab your jar of Trouble & Whale and breakfast will never be the same.
